ZAHA HADID POSTER

The above poster achieves various elements one hopes to achieve when designing a poster. It is broken down into a columned grid. Three vertical columns draped from the top to bottom contain different size and styled text Although the above poster is quite informative it does lack some fundamental qualities and aspects - one of these and the most significant of these are the use of images in design.

As noticed there are no images which is rather daring when designing a poster. The layout has been formulated in a way in which to grab the attention of the readers eyes and to lure them in to reading the larger, darker text first. This was achieved well, as the Name of the Architect is written in this font. Once more the sizing and opacity of the text, draws you into reading the centre piece of information which is talking about "open space" and "voids". This has been executed with great success, as the section that mentions voids and open spaces is not cluttered with text or justified in a conventional manner. By doing this it  really highlights the meanings, and conveys a sense of an open area in that section of the Poster.

Overall, I think that the poster has been designed in a terrific method, however with the use of a few images and possibly less text, they designer would be able to attract and interest further the minds of those reading and observing the poster.

DRAFT POSTER GRID

I would like to predominantly convey my design ideas through the use of images. I feel that it is a stronger way to show your designs, whether it be to a client or to any sort of viewers.

This is one prototype that I thought about. The main image on the front shows a dominant view of the structure making the viewer feel as if he is standing in front of the structure viewing it from a perspective. Again the use of images is to be predominantly used  as the main method of displaying my information.
